The main tools used to make these images include:

• Citcom, CitcomS, CitcomCU finite element mantle convection codes [Moresi, Zhong, Gurnis]
  • Available through the Computational Infrastructure for Geodynamics (CIG)
• Various post processing scripts and programs written by Allen McNamara
• Opendx, a freely available IBM 3D visualization program.
• Convert, a very useful conversion untility available on standard Linux operating systems
• Mpeg2encode, a freeware mpeg encoder

In the future, I hope to include many of my own personal Citcom processing programs and Opendx scripts.
